On June 18th, the Obama Presidential Center will enjoy its grand opening. This country is in operating in at least 5 different worlds - the very rich, the Republican leaders, the Democratic leaders, non-brown folks, and brown folks, ordered by who actually is free, gunshots to the face or back by government representatives notwithstanding. Champagne shall flow! People will dress in their finest, as if nothing is going on in Iran, Gaza, Venezuela, Cuba, or even D.C.. I'm sure the gowns will be gorgeous, and the men will look splendid in their tuxedos.
