Brought them back to check for flaws. Happy to report only the underside of the gargoyles needed some reworking. The almost horizontal wings made it difficult to get paint there in the big block. #OTTspringClean26
That's the metal tyranids all stripped, cleaned and rebuilt. The flying stand for the gargoyle might be a challenge. #OTTSpringClean26
Done the filling and recasting. First time using oyumaru and green stuff to reproduce missing parts. Does it look good? No. Is it hard? No still very flexible. Will I redo it? No. As long as the green parts don't fall of it will be hard to notice in a large swarm army. I hope XD #OTTSpringClean26
Some more work on the #OTTSpringClean26 project. Filled some gaps with milliput and tried my hand had recasting missing parts with #oyumaru and milliput. Hopefully I mixed it good enough so that it will cure fully.
Another step for the #OTTSpringClean26 challenge. All plastic cleaned up and back on bases. I am missing one pair of arms from a genestealer which I will reproduce from my Battle For Macragge box. I'm also missing a leg which will be more work to reproduce. For some reason the previous owner chose to leave two pairs of arms from the warriors but I actually like the look so the empty arm sockets will be filled with putty. Biggest project will be the big guy in the back. So much badly aligned parts. Tried to tear them apart and broke some. More putty work. Also I am missing a 28mm base and a 40mm base. Nothing we can't handle;(
