Suppose one had used #osmData to create a #map in #Rstats.
The map is flat.
Now you want to define set (known) heights for polygons or lines - not pulling the elevation data from elsewhere, but having a set "height" for roads [lines]
, another for "buildings" [polygons] etc. eg:

Geometry type: POLYGON
Dimension: XY
Bounding box: xmin: -6.240629 ymin: 53.63689 xmax: -6.235317 ymax: 53.64034
Geodetic CRS: WGS 84
The st_zm allows me to add a Z dimension, but can I specify a non zero value?

Just wondering if anyone has a worked example of using #osmdata with #leaflet in #rstats?
For example, I would like to superimpose a polygon representing the boundary of an area and add footpaths as an optional overlay.

One for those doing the #30DayMapChallenge

In addition: can you use roads to split an existing polygon into two parts? Example: using admin boundaries for 3 sides, but a motorway for the 4th side of a polygon? Or can you combine roads together to make boundaries of a polygon?

Do you like to make maps like me or do you want to learn how to make them? I found some tutorials for those interested in making beautiful maps using R. They are free access and very understandable.
