I'm pretty excited to check out the state of https://ocudu.org/ development for a variety of reasons.

Beyond it having already been an area of interest, the last few months there's been a weird uptick in people talking about and fiddling with hobby grade mesh networks lacking in any real engineering. It would be very cool to see that energy devoted to an ORAN based effort instead once enough development is there to make it more accessible.
