@cryptica @davidoclubb i daily drive a google pixel 3a with #postmarketos and everything functions (calls, sms, wifi, gps etc) except the camera is crap (selfie cam is crap, but has autofocus, back cam is crap without autofocus;)). however, the limited RAM (3GB) is sometimes annoying (especially when using gnome maps). as far as i know, the #OP6T still has this annoying bug with calling. i do not know about the #op6 though.
@ppulfer @fell @postmarketOS uh, you daily drive it? nice! when i tried that one year ago there was always a problem with audio/calls. you had to restart the phone after each call, otherwise you could not hear the other person. thats why i switched to the #pixel3a with #pmos. but since the #OP6T is way more powerful, i would love to switch back as soon as the problem is solved!
Dear #linuxmobile community, my linux-phone-as-daily-driver-journey took me from 2years of #librem5 (everything functions, but way to slow & outdated software) to 1year of #op6t (perfect phone - except that calling is not reliable:D) to some months of the #pixel3a now. feels like this could be the happy end of my journey, because you can actually use it as a fast-enough phone!:) a minor thing is however the missing gps: does anybody know if that can be fixed? or is it a hardware thing?

Some new closeup shots with the #oneplus #op6t camera on #postmarketOS! I installed the Snapshot 1440p patch (sudo mrtest add -a 79523) and took these. I did some closeup shots because that's where the camera seems to be focusing without the autofocus driver.
@netroy Cute guinea pigs! I'm excited for the #op6 and #op6t camera support! What app did you take that photo with?
#OP6T running #PostmarketOS with a working camera!!!
I upgraded #pmos on my #op6t to the last stable version and experience a strong regression concerning audio. before i only had the known problem that i had to restart the phone after each call. making calls or voice messages via #signal desktop etc worked flawless. now, my microphone does not seem to record anything anymore and i can't hear the other person 90% of the time (calls&signal), although i tried every constellation in settings. anyone else experiencing that? #linuxmobile #mobilelinux
dear #linuxmobile community, i've been happily using #signal desktop on my daily driven linux smartphone for years now, the versions #elagost compiled for arm64. now the website is no longer available (https://elagost.com/flatpak/) and is does not update anymore. i start recieving notes from signal, that my version is outdated. has anyone the same problem? having a fully functional signal is essential for me and it would be horror to be forced back to android🙏 #librem5 #op6t #mobilelinux
@jon laptop: linux. phone (#op6t): linux😍. https://postmarketos.org/
