Just had a grt session w/an #SSA cust svc asst who, despite me calling ½hr before closing time on a Friday night before a holiday weekend, was cheerful, helpful, patient, & spent all the time I needed to get my problem solved - and solve it she did.

Wasn't til we were signing off I realized this great svc'd just been rendered by a person who's not only not being paid b/c #TrumpShutdown, but also likely not sure she won't be "RIFFed" by evil #OMB director Russ Vought.

Public servants are heros.
