They think this is media, but all it is a hit job on a guy that was hired by the last administration. I'm sure this could have happened if someone hired under this administration was targeted by O'Keefe. This is not journalism, it is an attack. It has exposed vulnerabilities, and that is useful, but the framing of it is troubling at best.

A bit of levity in the dumpster fire. I recently watched a documentary on Georgia O’Keefe, after seeing a large exhibit of her work. I love her work, from the tiny almost encyclical botanicals to the massive flowers.

And I said to myself, self (that’s what I call me), we’ve never done a botanical. Let’s sit down and sketch this orchid for a painting. And so I did. And now I understand why everyone thinks Georgia’s paintings are particularly feminine. I’d planned on painting this in shades of fuchsia and purple, but gosh that seems a little on the nose...erm, as it were.
