Well hello there lovelies. I know this is for a May post but Happy Pride, everyone! I know I'm behind again, what's new? I hope everyone is staying safe, and being so very kind to themselves right now because as we all know the world is flooded with so much hate right now and so we've sometimes gotta be the ones to give ourselves the kindness we deserve.

To anyone struggling right now, with life, the state of the world, personal issues, whatever, please remember how very strong you are. I know it sucks to continuously be strong, and certainly doesn't feel like you are. But you are. You've made it through every hard day so far, and you are still here, and we are so grateful for that. You can absolutely keep making it through – don't just do it for us, do it for you ok? We love you crew.

Hey lovelies. As I was getting ready to post this, "This Woman's Work" started playing, and hand to goodness it came up randomly on Spotify (after I'd chosen the below Love Notes art already). I thought it was a good sign to send out a gentle reminder that we all still have a little life in us yet.

Things are tough right now. Every day we're fighting, every day we're pushing back, and it's exhausting. Please take a break. Please handle today and no matter what happens, even if you stay on that break, come back to this world tomorrow. You have so much life left in you, and you have so much love and kindness to give to this world, and this world to give to you.

You deserve soft times, and love, and we're gonna have to fight for them for a while, but I hope you know you deserve them, and they will happen one day. We just have to hold onto hope.

💌 Love Notes

Hey there lovelies! I've missed you! I'll be working on doing a lot of catch up over the next week or so now that taxes are finally done!

Tonight I just want to remind every single one of you how well you're doing. Shit is hard right now. So hard. We are experiencing things we never thought we would, and yet here you are, still here, and I'm so very proud of you for that.

You are still here and that means so much to me and everyone else. That being said, please oh please take some time for you. Whatever you need to recharge some of your battery. Read a book, listen to your favorite song or album on loop, dance around your living room in your underwear, eat something tasty you enjoy, cuddle with your fur-family, hug your favorite person, visit your favorite place!

I know that that's not always possible for everyone, so If you're not able to for any reason, please take some time tomorrow to close your eyes and imagine some of those things you love. Sit with the in your mind and enjoy them there for even just a few minutes. Our imaginations can change our brain chemistry – and it can actually help with our anxiety.

Anything you can do for you – do it! We need things to remind us of how good the world can be. Of the love and silliness that's here, and that as bad as shit is, we can still poke our heads into happiness once in a while. Anyway, I'm rambling sorry... I hope you are hanging in there, and getting any ounce of rest you can Crew. Stay safe out there. Here's a lovely reminder from @thelatestkate ! 💖
