In honor of Indigenous People's Day, the Post-Growth Institute has an online Offers And Needs Market tomorrow, Monday Oct. 13/25, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Pacific. Getting our needs met doesn't have to be soulless & transactional. It can be a way to experience connection by being good humans, & this is still the basis of many Indigenous economies. Donations welcome, but you can attend for free.

What can you offer / request? The Institute says (click the link): physical or conversational Passions (meditation, climate, decluttering), Knowledge & Perspectives (Islamic traditions, drip irrigation, how to use gender pronouns), formal / informal Skills & Services (Spanish lessons, making origami cranes) . . .

When I attended before, I connected with a guy who'd offered info re scything; I offered fermenting info (sauerkraut, yogurt, tempeh, natto). I will probably attend this (depends on work).
