Meine lieben Lebensformen,
heute ein sehr besonderes Tier, welches wohl kaum eine:r von euch kennt. Es ist der Numbat, auch Ameisenbeutler genannt.
Der Numbat ernährt sich nur von Termiten und deckt durch sie auch den Flüssigkeitsbedarf.
Der Numbat ist etwas größer als ein Eichhörnchen und ist leider durch den von Menschen in Australien eingeführten Rotfuchs stark gefährdet.
Je nach Quelle gibt es noch zwischen 600 und 1000 Tiere in freier Wildbahn. Dies sind zwei davon.

Tiere sind Freunde und kein Essen oder eine Plage und sollten immer in Freiheit leben dürfen.

Bleibt oder werdet wieder gesund, glücklich und verliebt.

Just typed "11cm in inch" into #numbat because my brain lagged and forgot how numbat's unit conversion syntax works. I was then quite confused when it gave me an answer:

70.9676 cm³

Took me a moment to figure that one out :D

Using kagi for the past week has been great so far! I love that I can block out certain domains, and I like that it shows how many searches I do, because it makes me cognizant of the things I was relying on web searches for too often. A great example is byte conversion, which made me look up some open source tools to get the job done in the terminal instead and I found numbat! I was able to install it with brew and it does the exact thing I want it to.

As an example you can type 1000000000 bytes -> gigabytes and it'll output:

1_000_000_000 byte ➞ gigabyte = 1 GB [DigitalInformation]

Super handy! Open to other little local conversion tools that are installable via brew, so I can use them on both macOS and Debian
