Versus: The Amiga Diskmag and Demo Chart – Issue 10 has been released for Classic Amiga and AmigaOS 4

Hi, and welcome to another post here on Old School Game Blog!

Today I’ve got some Demoscene related news to share.

Yesterday, on December 7th, issue 10 of the Amiga diskmagazine Versus was released for Classic Amiga. Today, on December 8th, the AmigaOS 4 edition became available.

Versus is not only a diskmagazine. It is also a Demoscene chart. The chart includes lists of the presently most popular demos, coders, musicians, and so forth. People have sent in votesheets where they have voted for their favorites. Curious to see who is on top? Then get Versus now… πŸ˜‰

Two groups, Nukleus and Void, collaborated on this release. As some of you know, I am a member of Void and the Versus Team. I’m thrilled to see this issue finally seeing the light of day. It’s been a long journey. Now it is here. I hope you will enjoy reading it. πŸ™‚

Here is a message from the main editor, Browallia of Nukleus:

Im proud that we made this release. A release I promised to come out this Summer, turned to be a winter saga. Sorry for that, and all the rush with deadlines I couldnt live up to. Without going in to the delays in detail, we are happy to stand here today.

Contributors are like 30-40 people, and anno 2024, we are happy we got 70+ votes. The OS4 is a seperate engine and will join tomorrow πŸ™‚
