Maxwell (it/its)One thing I really appreciate about the #NuclearOption #modding scene is that in addition to high-quality add-on game content the modders are releasing some amazing pieces of #machinima along with some awesome music. That includes the GOAT Aryx and primeva2082, the team that produced the FS-3 Ternion.

Two classic fighters, a tactical airlifter, and now a light attack helicopter? How does Aryx keep doing this? She's a one-woman dev studio with the power to slow time. And this work is all amazing.
So if you launch a FOX-3 without first locking a BANDIT, it will enter MADDOG mode until it encounters a BOGEY, then it will go PITBULL and SPLASH it?
This actually works in #NuclearOption? Good to know.
Edit: My testing suggests otherwise. Too bad.

And some of the mods available now are excellent, even though the game hasn't even left Early Access yet.
The Nuclear Option Mod Manager is available as an AppImage for Linux systems too.
It's not possible to spoiler/CW a video uploaded to Signal, Matrix, or Discord, is it?
I recorded something in #NuclearOption. Suffice to say, though impressive to behold, that kind of thing might give you nightmares.

PilouSlowly finding my way through the Nuclear option editor and some of the quirks of making missions.
I extended the Defend bridge mission (mission 06) that comes with the game. It is a rally good training mission to get familiar with the game and its mechanics (Start with the tutorials and missions 01 and 02, skip the others as they are more difficult).
The modified version behaves a bit strangely. Ranks are not working (yet) and I struggle to make the airstrip work but getting there :)
