A day off, on deck for a bit after I spent some time with a nearly four year-old grandson at a “Grandparents Day” thing at his school and trying to get these two to look at me at the same time for a photo of them wishing they were out here is literally like herding cats.

I’m not sure what Nubs was doing as he was on my lap while I watched “Rear Window” on Turner Classic Movies tonight. Later, I didn’t have the heart to hit the lever and drop the foot rest (and Nubs) so I nearly hurt myself exiting the La Z Boy from the left side. He looked up long enough to seem to be asking “What the hell are you doing, dumbass?” and then laid his head back down. His concern for my well-being is noted.

First it was Allie who would hop up on the bed and look out the window and then, it was Kidder Cat. Now, it’s become Nubs’s perch. Gizmo comes in every so often to look out the window but I believe Nubs has pretty much now claimed it as his own.
