Today it has been one week since i got my #Novovax vaccine and i think it is now safe to say, that i have no side effects (besides some minor pain in the arm where the shot was administered). This was not the case every time i got a #mRNA vaccine or booster, on the contrary. My reactions went from bad to worse.

Since the Swiss agency responsible (#SwissMedic) fucked up the approval process, we had to travel 400 km and i had to endure many sleepless nights worrying if i would receive it.

Dude impft gegen #COVID19, verlangt den zweieinhalbfachen Preis, aber Maske tragen findet er dann sei eine Zumutung.

Finally after months of asking i was told about some pharmacies in Germany where they vaccinate #Novovax, but for the first one i checked all dates are booked until well into 2025. I now have a date in another pharmacy, where they do not guarantee if they will have it in house.

Even though i kept asking on every platform for people to tell me if they hear anything, no one did. Every one looking out for their own ass. This is vaccination darwinism.

I could scream.

My partner is getting her booster today. For weeks i have been trying to convince myself to get one as well. If they offered #Novovax i would not hesitate one second, but they only have mRNA. So i went back and forth about it over many sleepless nights.

My last booster did not go well. At all. It set me back almost to the start of my #LongCovid, symptoms i had thought I had overcome were back. It took me until last summer to get back to baseline.

So it's a no. Sucks. But it feels too risky.

Die Schweiz verpennt ein weiteres Mal den #Novovax-Impfstoff (sie schreiben: Verzicht auf Zulassung) und eine #mRNA wage ich nicht noch einmal (hatte starke Crashes, denke wegen #LongCOVID).

Deshalb Frage in die Runde:
Wer kann mir weiterhelfen mit dem Novovax-Impfstoff in #Deutschland:

- Gibt es eine Website wo ich den Stand der Zulassung sehe?
- Wie finde ich Praxen, möglichst in Süddeutschland, in denen Novovax auch vorhanden ist?

#Switzerland did not even approve #Novovax, in fact they waited so long that the company producing it retired its application for approval.
