Okay I find that a bit mean.
Both my mom and I use the #novalauncher on their phone. But use the paid #novalauncherprime and she used the free version. But now Nova started putting #videoadvertising with sound! into the App Drawer.

I just helped my mom together the paid version. With 4.09 € is really not that expensive.

It’s still the best launcher I used, although tbh, I didn’t used any other launcher like ever.

Finally, given the ever-declining quality of articles showing up on my Google Discover feed, I decided it was time to remove it. Ironically, I saw an article with a how-to on the feed itself.

From there things snowballed. I reinstalled #novalauncherprime so I could get rid of the Google search bar at the bottom and use the #firefox widget.

I'm still using Google as my search in the widget, for now -- but at least it guarantees all my searches open in Firefox, not Chrome.
