Follow up on this, we have planned to use #notmuch to index and clean the mail inbox.
@marshray and that exactly has become a mess right now, #gmail has revoked for all app passwords for any other clients , they be like my server accessible in my own hell , well they be in their hell
Every-time I switch servers , it seems like i know nothing about #mbsync #afew #polling #alot #notmuch #mta #mua #mailmover
almost like a #postoffice
Testing #SMTP (EHLO/HELO) on a #Linux localhost (MTA/MUA) validates email flow. Use telnet localhost 25 or openssl s_client -connect localhost:587 -starttls smtp to initiate a session. Proper testing requires a FQDN (e.g., mail.example.com) rather than localhost to avoid spam rejections, as EHLO identifies the sending server.Essential SMTP Testing Commands

Strange thing with #emacs #notmuch MTA works but mua didn't , killed my night over it

@mjturner @Tubsta ah that makes a difference. I'm hosting my email on a small hetzner instance via imap. on the laptop i use #notmuch synced via `mbsync`. `afew` handles the tagging and moving around of mail files in maildir folder. I only keep the last 90 days and flagged messages synced/alive on the IMAP server. It's my gmail replacement with compromises. i do spam filtering via rspamd on the heztner instance. I tried running that locally, but doing it at delivery is way more effective.

How to hide (obfuscate) any traffic using obfs4 | Hamy - The IT Guy

In this post, I'm going to give you the information necessary to be able to use obfs4 protocol not just for wrapping Tor traffic, but for virtually any other TCP traffic as well.

@panmaster @me I use #imapfilter for presorting, #mbsync to sync with imap servers, custom python scripts for cleanup, and tie it all together with #notmuch. Actual reading of emails in #mu4e that calls notmuch and indexes using #mu.

Does that make me a weirdo? Probably. That and wearing toe socks.
