Notice to Quit is a great-great-grandchild of Bicycle Thieves and a distant cousin to Death of a Salesman, Glengarry Glen Ross, and Falling Down. It brings neither shame (aside from that which is already baked into its protagonist) nor glory to the family name. It’s smarter and more grounded than The Bike Thief, but nowhere near as powerful as A Better Life.
