Capture and organizing are two different jobs, and most setups quietly punish you for treating them as one. If you have to decide where a thought goes before you can write it down, you've already lost half of them. Keep the inbox dumb. Sort later, on purpose.

This looks promising. I alternate between Obsidian and Bear, but in general I prefer the UX of the latter. The biggest issue is that it's not markdown native.
