I saw the Batman Hoverfly today. Thought it was a honeybee in the shed looking for something dusty to collect and pass off as pollen but it was the big hoverfly.

Some kind of drone fly I guess. Seems more yellow than most of the photos of the 'Common' one. It's on a chokecherry blossom.
