I finally managed to get the new ElasticSearch container whipped into shape, so we're now running 2.3.0rc2, with full text searching of "your" toots (ones you've tooted, been mentioned in, favorited or boosted), which (IMHO) makes favoriting several orders of magnitude more useful. For any #mastoadmins who might be fighting with ES, here's the saga ...

I installed 2.3.0rc1, uncommented the new es container in the docker-compose, and added the three ES_ lines to the .env.production. Everything built and restarted, but my CPU has been nailed at 100...
