Oh Lordy Lordy. How I never once heard of this or stumble across it in Reddit OR in legends online, I’ll never know.
A “new” post today in r/creepy (yes, there is a community group for this and no, I will not be taking questions) asks for the scariest or creepiest posts ever in Reddit and so very many people contributed. I read through about 10 that turned out to be very true and sadly, real life horror and tragedy. And THEN I saw comments about the search and rescue park ranger who told of his creepiest stories. The guy went on and on, starting 10 years ago and had 8 connected threads of his stories. They are all archived now. But let’s just say this link takes you to them and letting you know I was hooked 4 hours solid.
So if the NoSleep stories or subs ring a bell, these are only a small part. You can search online to find articles about them; even a Wikipedia on r/nosleep. Turns out that the groups of r/nosleep starting in 2010 remain in the top 50 of all time Reddit posts.
Hey Ben, I bet you are familiar with these—right? @ai6yr #NoSleep #nosleepReddit
