The big moorland fire at Harbottle, Northumberland, Easter weekend 2007. Started with a muirburn that hadn't been fully extinguished and spread across the Nature Reserve. I'm a big opponent of shooting managed moorland, but If whoever manages it is going to maintain dominant heather cover then they are going to have to burn or "strim" firebreaks, and rewet the once wet bits..
