Fish & chips at the famous Mangonui Fish Shop. Got the Catch of the Day (NZ$16.50) which was Bluenose, but they'd changed to Hapuku soon after. Plus chips & tomato sauce. The fish was so fresh & delicious. #Northland #Mangonui #NorthlandEats #Aotearoa #NewZealand

Paihia. Dinner at the Tipsy Oyster which is a bar/tapas place with good reviews. Had the oysters, oyster burger (tempura oysters, smoked bacon & onion chutney, crispy onion bhaji, chilli mayo, lime & cucumber slaw), and fries.
