Group proposes alternative idea to highway with 'urban boulevards' for I-71/75 corridor through #NorthernKentucky neighborhoods and into #Cincinnati instead of the Brent Spence Corridor Project, a $3.6 billion plan that includes widening I-71/75 to 16 lanes.

They want through traffic to use alternative routes and transform 1-71/75 into an urban, transit boulevard, rebuilding the highway to expand greenspace and tree cover, reconnect neighborhoods, create space for affordable housing, grocery stores, and local businesses, improve air quality, and provide accessible, sustainable transportation throughout the corridor. #Ohio #Kentucky

Lovely idea but I don't know how this will shuttle people downtown and back home for work. Mass transit from the Ohio and Northen KY burbs to various points in Cincinnati seems the better alternative. A true mass transit solution. This plan does nothing for Ohio and only would add congestions to the burbs on 275
