Have drove past this countless times but actually made it up top. Wow, it’s flatter and bigger than it looks from afar. The moat remnants are still clearly visible also.
Lovely day for it too.
King Edward I of England stepped foot in here in 1296 and tonight I’m eating his potatoes. Moral of the story: store in a cool dry place for best results, or, for superior results, under a moated mound for 8 hunner years.
