Choreia: new melodic ambient for February 26

Amazingly (given recent production rates...) I have uploaded another track less than a month after the previous one. "Choreia" is about 3 minutes of melodic ambient (I resisted putting any drums on this one). I was lucky with this one, it came together quite quickly once I revisited a sound I found at some point last year. I'm feeling my way with new music, so any feedback appreciated. Darien – new track for 2026

Hi, as promised, I'm continuing to put any new material up on soundcloud and I'm happy to say there is a new track "Darien" now uploaded (considered 'unreleased' with a rough Northcape master). It's a warm, contemplative piece of electronica that I think is recognisably 'Northcape', with maybe a few more strings than normal. A few of my first attempts at photographing the Northern Lights.
These were taken with the Canon R5 and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II.
A faster lens with less coma (an optical aberration) definitely would’ve been the better choice…

New unreleased Northcape track ‘Aquifer’ now on Soundcloud

I’m writing with a brief update – After a (long) gap (since 2018!), I’m finally starting to make music again, and now have a new “unreleased” track up on soundcloud. It’s a 6 minute piece of electronic ambience that has already been described as sounding a bit like a mixture of the sound from ‘Alluvial’ and ‘Glasshouse’.
