Good morning. It's another sunny, cold, but busy morning on the Seto Inland Sea, as the seaweed farmers have been busy since who knows how early (my neighbor is a seaweed farmer, he left home at 2am last night).
Iodine is an essential #mineral used by your body to make thyroid hormones. These hormones control how fast your cells work. They are also needed for growth and brain development during pregnancy and childhood.
Note: it is also important to avoid too much iodine because this can lead to thyroid disorders.
