Turns out that the Wavestate is better than the Nord Micro Modular for CS-80isms. Because HP/LP filter combos. In other news: spent all day cleaning a set of Rotring Rapidograph pens I found in a charity shop years ago. Ordered some ink to test them.

As an experiment today I attempted to get the functionality of one 2600 VCO (all four waveforms simultaneously FMing all over the shop) plus filter and ring mod, and it was using about 44% of the Nord's resources, which suggests that it would be pushed to make it simulate a full 2600.

Sure, it does many other things better, and of course it is considerably smaller.

Might try a similar experiment with an Axoloti.
