I have been in a dry period lately, not many new images on my camera. This weekend I captured a few.
I want to learn how to make minimalistic or abstract images, its a long journey and I have just started.

Tomorrow I participate in my very first photo exhibition ever. It's just a small part of a larger event, that has nothing to do with photos. It might very well be the last one as well.
The task is to show 3-5 images from Nordjylland where I live. These are the images I have chosen, it's never easy to find the best photos ever, but I think these are okay. I have chosen a set that show landscape and nature.

Das #Skagen #Vippefyr (deutsch Wippfeuer) war ein Leuchtfeuer in Skagen auf der dänischen Insel #Vendsyssel-Thy. Es ist das erste seiner Art in Dänemark und wurde 1627 gebaut.

An einem Ende der Wippe hängt ein massiver Eisenkorb, den man mit Brennholz füllte. Dieses wurde angezündet und der Korb mit der Wippe nach oben gezogen. Das Problem war, dass das Holz leicht die Balkenkonstruktion des Wippgestells in Brand setzte. Deshalb wurde sehr rasch auf Holzkohle umgestellt, die nicht so hoch aufflammte.

Das Wippfeuer brannte nur von März bis November, da #Schifffahrt aufgrund schwerer Stürme in den Wintermonaten kaum stattfand. Das Wippfeuer war eine Hilfe, jedoch war die Reichweite sehr begrenzt.

Im Nordsoen Ozeanarium in Hirtshals gibt es vieles zu sehen. Z.b. diese mit UV Licht beleuchteten Quallen in einem Aquarium.
