#newBookDay with the #strugatskyBrothers #maximKammerer trilogy. picked up these new translations in paperback mainly to lend them out, but i want to read the new translations too. all i need to finish my old/new translation #noonUniverse collection now is destination: amaltheia and the bormashenko translation of hard to be a god.

#NewBookDay one more in the #strugatsky #strugatskyBrothers collection, this one is a hardcover first printing which is tight because when i bought it i thought it was paperback. #NoonUniverse

Finishing off #TheSnailOnTheSlope by the #StrugatskyBrothers.

The Afterword is a wonderful view into their writing of the book and their books more widely - or at least some of them.
And how the book was formed over the years is quite a story.

Their #NoonUniverse is mentioned, with #HomoLudens' place in it described.
