“As You Wish”
You bade me turn the trees to gold
And set the stream ablaze
So you might bath in riches
Though your dresses are but stitches
You asked for the gentle rustle
Of a thousand fairy wings
Fluttering above your flaxen hair
As you dipped a toe in there
You wished to step through the mirror
And fall into autumnal bliss
That might last a thousand years
And hide your oft cried tears
