Lovely Peeps, the newspaper link no longer works (which is a shame because it was a great article) but I still love the idea, so am moving over my original post without it - & now there is a website! 😊

🚨 Love this! 😃

#BlackMenFlowerProject, a nonprofit centering the health & well-being of #BlackMen since 2021, is asking #Black men to nominate others they know for flower delivery as a way to show appreciation & build community.

Already in a few cities, #florists in more are enquiring about joining, and there may soon be a nationwide network of Black men connecting with each other through nature. 💪

#NonToxicMasculinity is not a hashtag yet but it could become an amusing trend. Not that there are a whole lot of manosphere or incel types on here, but when they show up they could be directed there, like a free therapy session.

What hashtags should I use to post about the particular emotional challenges faced by Anglo-American #men? (I assume Canadian men have somewhat similar socialization to USian).

I've explored it and while being male in some way is a part of my identity, masculinity just isn't. :)

But I'm *all about* being pro non-toxic masculinity! :D ..and this is two hours (!) of a black man who's also all about non-toxic masculinity talk about the toxic kind and what's wrong with it.

And he's got a bunch of other videos! :D
