August 17th is nonprofits day!

Not for profits organizations are a powerful and inspiring way of ensuring that one’s mission is not lost as technologies and landscapes change. Throughout the years, and as challenges come, the core of existing to give back to the community and keep improving is what drives us, and we believe that by being open source and nonprofit, we can do this better.

OISF was envisioned and created as a nonprofit organization to ensure that from the start, and always, Suricata would stay relevant, open-source, and community centered.

We are proud of this mission and the journey it has brought us, and celebrate together with all who believe in communities’ strength and in sharing, and will continue to put our best in Suricata and into inspiring the Information Security spaces and beyond!
