The International Noise Awareness Day is #observed in the month of April every year to sensitize people and raise awareness about the harmful #effects of noise on #hearing, #health and #quality of #life.

At Ministry of Acoustics, we understand that, #Noise is not only a #nuisance, it also hurts people’s health and disrupts ecosystems.

How can we quieten the world down today?

According to the United Nations Development Program (#UNDP), more trees, bushes and shrubs in cities could possibly curb the problem. They disperse and dampen noise while contributing to a better climate and cityscape.

SOUND Pollution or NOISE Pollution, the Destroyer of Peace?

OUR ANCIENT INDIAN culture or dharma directs emphasis on Shanti (#peace of #mind) and required people to practice speculation, a way to salvation ingrained in the #Indian #ethos.

But the #tragedy is that today we have forgotten the basic #human #life #precepts, the conservation #ethic, and we are out for wanton destruction of our own #environment.

The cost of #regeneration is so #exorbitant that it is not possible to compensate the #loss and put our environment back on its then existing position.

The #conservation of our environment, an inseparable part of our #dharma and an act of #PUNYA, has taken the #place of #degradation, a #PAAP (#Sin).

The #result is that in today’s #modern times the man is living in a disturbed condition.

All this manmade situation created by our own self. Before the slow poison of shattering noise destroys ourselves and the generations to come it is time that we try to build up a peaceful #Hyderabad, #Telangana, #Vizag, #AP,#India and #Earth.
