Grete Hermann war eine bedeutende Mathematikerin, Physikerin und Philosophin, die als eine der ersten Emmy Noethers Ideen auf die #Quantenphysik anwandte und dabei auch mit Größen wie Niels #Bohr und Werner #Heisenberg diskutierte. In ihrem Werk von 1935 kritisierte sie fundiert John von Neumanns berühmten Beweis gegen verborgene Variablen und entdeckte darin einen grundlegenden Fehler.
