Been playing Final Fantasy XV lately. Last time I played was in 2021. I made Noctis's Chocobo neon green and named it Manéo after the character from The Expanse.

Noctis - before No Man's Sky

Noctis is a space sim made by a single person for msdos. It has thousands of stars with procedurally generated planets.
You can fly to them, land and even walk on the surface. Most planets are boring, but there are rare gems with seas, structures and even life.

The source code for Noctis IV (fourth version) was released in 2003. There are community forks, e.g. NICE and Noctis IV Plus: https://www.mooses.nl/nice/about/
