Michael Curtiz's Bright Lights (AKA Adventures in Africa) is a fascinating pre-code oddity, a 1930 backstage musical with romance and a murder. Stars Dorothy Mackaill and Noah Beery.

Includes some outrageous very pre-code musical numbers.

Light and breezy and great fun.
