I want y'all's opinion on AI used in writing and coding. Please keep this post a neutral space, as I'm doing a bit of research for a paper, not trying to start a fight (just yet). Specifically, how would you answer any of these questions:

-Could AI be a good tool if people were more thoughtful about how it's used?
-Is AI at all useful for learning to code or write?
-If someone uses AI and discloses how it was used (provides receipts), would you be any more okay with what they publish or push to prod?
-Is AI always a no-go?
-If AI is truly here to stay, what rules/laws/restrictions do you think would need to be implemented to protect original works or prevent "head empty" use?

Again, these are questions I'm using for a paper. I am not fishing for particular answers here, just an average, and the opportunity to learn more about the topic.
