There is NO comprehensive emergency plan for the fore river basin. Gov Baker's state agencies have left us to rot, our mayor (who sold us out to Enbridge a couple of years ago) has a nothingburger plan, Braintree has a lame plan... no specifics to the actual region... just unacceptable!

4/ Ah, recent changes in MassDEP's Ch 91 req's *might* allow a variance that Algonquin/Enbridge could take advantage of. We don't know if they will seek a variance— if they DO seek one we will object. If a variance request becomes a new topic, our lawyer will immediately update us.

We are still waiting waiting waiting for the 1st circuit case we have against FERC for turning over a 2-year extension in 2018 in the space of 32 minutes. Unheard of.

2/ Slightly new news:
The Mass #DEP found Algonquin/Enbridge filing was deficient in the remand order's request to Algonquin/Enbridge for their info. haha wtf with all this process

If Algonquin/Enbridge loses argument that compressor is ancillary... Algonquin/Enbridge made that "ancillary" assumption from the very beginning & DEP never fought it.

Tonight is a monthly meeting for @frracs (Fore River Residents Against the Compressor Station) aka the opposition to the Enbridge #gas transmission #compressor station in Weymouth, MA (my town). The Fore River Basin includes these towns/cities in the immediate area: #Quincy, #Braintree, #Weymouth.
