We came across several burrows of sweat bees coming out of the ground where the new #NoMow #wildflower meadow was excavated and is now seeded.
For the new wildflower meadow, that is priceless!

2/ Penny went out and took this photo. We put up some edging. Remember, the dirt is going to be the #NoMow #WildFlower meadow and sprouts are already coming up!
She brought the boards over and helped with the labor and I hammered them in the ground, leveled, etc.
You can get an idea of what #PaulsYard is going to look like. That edging is going to go all the way around the wildflower meadow. Some images are in the #PaulsYard tag
Next time I "work in the yard" I'll have her take a snap or video of me doing whatever it is I am trying to do.
So, who is mad in love with #gardening and #landscaping and would love load up in their RV and take a vacation to come to #AppalachianOhio on the #Ohio River (70 miles east of #Cincinnati) and get in the mud with my small yard. Got 8 raised beds to setup for vegetables, a nice wildflower meadow to seed, some dwarf trees to plant, sacks of bulbs, etc. Making as no-mow as possible for the environment and so we can take care of it due to my disability and Penny's reduced strength and endurance after her widowmaker heart attack.. #NoMow
I love to bring joy so come on and get in the mud. 😂
Soon, the front of the house is getting a makeover, too. At least those AC are gone soon, replaced with energy efficient hvac

#NoMow for a few months and I have a nice crop of flowers and stuff. It's only about 20cm high but it's coming along nicely.
I do mow it occasionally so it stays grass, but there's lots of clover and random ground cover plants there now.
The chickens are really enjoying spring. The lawn has gone to seed so I let them have at it a couple of times a week.
I'm going to mow the lawn one day. But not today.
