i dont know what it is about "no, im not a human" that captivates me so much. it's a game where you don't leave the house because of an apocalyptic event where strange beings try to invade your home. daily fear and panic from the television. hints about who might or might not be an enemy based on physical traits that in any other time would be benign. the paranoia that someone might try to kill you at night. the impact of global warming causing people to burn at daytime. the anxiety of testing someone - they're showing signs, but could they just be innocent?
i don't know.
i've played through the game three times now, and it won't leave my head. i'm about to do a fourth playthrough. the game really touches me emotionally, and i cannot quite tell why.
