I think my role in our kitchen garden is about 95% "move wheelbarrows full of various organic materials from one place to another".

@Tristananthony Ease of harvest and simple to reuse the compost afterwards too.
I have three bags of earlies growing in the greenhouse from a January planting. Two seed potatoes per bag. We’ve had no frosts here to speak of.
On the plot my seed potatoes will be just dibbed in the ground and organic matter will be added on top and around them as they grow. No dig potatoes are easily done. #NoDig #GrowYourOwn

Today was compost day. The two main piles were turned and moved 90°. A third pile is from the two compost daleks to which compostable material had been added over winter.
There are two more compost daleks of home made maturing compost and three recycled water butt planters are ready for growing carrots. #Compost #Allotment #NoDig #Gardening #SolarPunk
@Frau_Mensch I’ve been using no dig practices for over a decade to grow fruit and veg on an allotment.
It works well. I find it is easier physically than digging. It promotes better soil health, reduces weed pressure, improves water infiltration and water holding capacity in the soil. #NoDig
