On vient d’apprendre qu’un train pourrait arriver sous peu. Des personnes Innu et Nehirowisiw (Atikamekw) bloquent actuellement les rails à Mashteuiatsh, la réserve Innu près du Lac-Saint-Jean. Iels sont là en tant que gardien·nes du territoire. Il y a une présence policière, mais l’ambiance est amicale et joyeuse.

We just got word that a train might be coming soon. Innu and Nehirowisiw (Atikamekw) people are currently blocking the tracks in Mashteuiatsh, the Innu reserve near Lake Saint-Jean. They are there as guardians of the territory. Police are present, but the atmosphere is friendly and joyful.
