Use of potent synthetic opioid called nitazene on the rise in Houston, DEA agent warns

Fifteen people in the Houston area have died from nitazene overdoses during the last year, with the victims ranging in age from 17 to 59, according to the DEA, which says the drug is more potent than fentanyl.

Reading an article in which they criticize Trump for his wrong approach on the war on drugs using tariffs they explain why he failed already, first because it will make life more expensive for everyone, and second because if drug dealers have a hard time finding fentanyl and fentanyl precursors they will just charge to a different drug, and that is already happening in the UK, they will charge to nitazenes.
