โ neither can sleep, and they encounter each other late at night and end up having sex
โ I love how jingyan keeps on being forcibly reminded of lin shu throughout the fic in various ways....how much he's on his mind, how much his connection with mcs makes jingyan think of lin shu. the way that tension is handled is so good, with what the reader knows but jingyan doesn't, quite. can't quite let himself see.
โ and the ways these two are desperate to be able to be open and vulnarable with each other!! but. they have other goals. that are more important, in the end than the simple things they want for themselves.
