L'Agence antidopage russe (RUSADA) a suspendu pour deux ans le coureur russe Nikita Novikov, qui avait subi un contrôle antidopage positif hors compétition le 17 mai dernier. Le coureur de 23 ans avait été suspendu provisoirement par l'Union cycliste internationale (UCI) le 7 juin dernier.
