"The city of #Nijmegen introduced a ban on #meat #advertising in public spaces, such as bus shelters and digital screens. The city also launched the #Nimma Sandwich, a fully #plantbased sandwich, which is available in their canteens.
"In #Groningen, the city has committed to a 60% plant-based vs. 40% #animalbased #protein consumption ratio for its residents by 2030 and a 70% / 30% ratio by 2050. They have also set a target to halve the amount of land used for #animalfeed production by 2050, to prioritise farmland for growing food for humans."
