Drink Spiking:
Offenders may try to play down alcohol as a form of drink spiking by saying ‘it’s just a joke’ in their failed sexual advances.
But there are people who have allergic reactions to Alcohol. Others who can only tolerate a certain level or form of alcohol.
A close friend of mine would end up in ER, if spiking were to happen to her.

For most others it leads to a level of trauma/hyper vigilance where they can no longer light-heartedly enjoy the night life. Romance can’t happen when women fear such predatory behaviours like sexual harassment and spiking.
