I came out of retirement for the night, to catch up with a couple of old friends with their new band - they thought I would hate it, as it was completely different to everything I knew them for with previous bands, but they were dazzlingly good.

I had known Ben for a decade at this point, and became friendly with Iain when he was the roadie for one of Ben's previous bands.
