Gold Sport has now become iHeartCountry NZ 🎸

The new sport commentary schedule is on Newstalk ZB's website, which is very right-wing so I won't be linking to it lol. In the netball, the radio usually covers the Sunday afternoon match at 4pm. 🏐

Gold Sport radio has ceased to exist – the ANZ Premiership and Super Rugby commentaries will now be on Newstalk ZB.

That follows the recent disruption to Auckland's AM transmitters due to repairs; may well be related:

#NewstalkZB, NZ’s leading RW news broadcasters told its listeners not to take meteorological warnings about the approaching Cyclone Gabrielle too seriously.
#CycloneGabrielle in Feb 23 was the costliest tropical cyclone on record in the Southern Hemisphere, with total damage estimated to be NZ$14.5 billion, in which NZ$3.18 billion are insurance loss.

Cyclone Gabrielle scepticism is a sting in Covid's tail

ANALYSIS: As Cyclone Gabrielle churned over the country, some dismissed warnings as "fearmongering" and "hysteria". Sound familiar?

@ArrestJK Yes, he did go on to say he didn’t blame Chippy himself but there’s a lot of locals who are. I later heard about the failure of the river level monitoring hence the lack of warning. But in a way that makes #NewstalkZB politicising the NZ met service so much more appalling. I would support a class action against NZME. #CycloneGabrielle
Do any other #NZTwits wonder how much longer #TVNZ #Newshub #RNZ #NewstalkZB #NZHerald #NZStuff #Spinoff #Newsroom etc and their journalists will have active accounts on @ #Twitter?
Not to mention which politicians. #RIPTwitter #NZPol #NZMedia
